2010 Banquet a Success!!!
We had a great time on Friday the 5th !
Our speakers were absolutely fabulous!!!!! Carrie Abbott and Vicki Carver had us riveted to our chairs.
The Dessert Auction was A LOT of fun. There was some mighty competition over the chocolate cheese cake...it was the first to go! There were many, many wonderful desserts to choose from - red velvet cake, costco chocolate All-American cake, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, chocolate cream pie, key lime pie, and the list goes on. There were over 20 desserts to choose from!
The waitstaff was Amazing! The food was really good, the video presentations with current statistics was eye opening for many in attendance, the company was fun and the evening was all focused on continuing our mission to partner together to make a difference in "Life" in the Marysville Community and surrounding areas.
If you missed the evening mark your calendar for next year around the same time (date coming soon) so that you can join us!

Radio with Carrie Abbott
Spent about 30 minutes on the radio with Carrie on the 10th. We had a good chat about the work of the office and sexual integrity.
I am really excited to hear her speak at the Banquet on March 5th!

Office Needs
Our office is still here and hopping with those needing assistance! If you have any "gently" used clothing, please consider donating it. There are those in the area that could really use your "handmedowns." And since we are a 501(c)3 you can ask for a receipt and use your donations on your taxes (of course talk to your tax specialist). Also, we are in desperate need of diapers, sizes 1 to 6, baby wipes and lotions, bathwash...all the baby goodies.
